The Next Big Thing

Picture
It's almost Mother's Day! We'd like to have a Mother's Day event, but we need to know how many would be interested before making reservations somewhere.

Two CFA members have volunteered to make muffins for everyone joining us at this event. We'll have milk/orange juice to go with the muffins. We will also have a craft for children to make for their mummy on this special day.
Older children are welcome to join in the muffin consumption as well!

The only thing we ask for is a $5 donation to the CFA and to have a good time sharing Mother's Day with your wee ones.
You can PayPal your $5 to chattfreethought@gmail.com or have cash at the event.

Don't worry dads, we'll have one for Father's Day too ;)

We can only have the event if more than just a few people are interested.

Who We Are

We are the Freethought Association of the greater Chattanooga area. We welcome all freethinkers, atheists, brights, agnostics, and skeptics who wish to get together for fun and interesting conversation and the promotion of positive atheism through community service as well as peaceful activism.

A Sense of Community:

Adopt-A-Highway - Every three months, some of the CFA members gather to clean up a local highway here in Chattanooga.
Tennessee Valley Pride - October 2012 was our first time being part of the Pride Festival.  We had a booth and information about the CFA.
Chattanooga Area Food Bank - The CFA pulled together and donated a car full of non-perishable items to the food bank.
Pet-Smart - A small group of CFA members helps with pet adoptions through a local animal shelter.

If you would like to help out with any of these groups, please contact us from the Contact page.
